Hotel Introduction
A popular hotel with tourists and business guests because of the fact that the city centre is minutes away. The hotel has a good location in Marble Arch, very near to all of London's main tourist attractions, business centres and has some popular gardens and parks on its doorstep - Hyde Park is a couple of minutes walk away and the ever popular Kensington Gardens is only a few minutes walk away - this is where the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens are. The hotel's claim to fame is the fact that it was used for a filming location for the Notting Hill movie, which was set in London and starred Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.
The hotel is the ideal choice if you want somewhere to stay that has all of London's attractions right on the doorstep.
Hotel Facilities
The 164 rooms are comfortable and provide various amenities including hot drink making facilities, desk and lamp, trouser press and direct dial telephone. All of the rooms are accessible by the hotel lift. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant between 7am and 10am. This is a choice of either buffet style, continental or a full English breakfast. The front desk is open day and night providing such services as dry cleaning, safety deposit boxes and laundry service. Children are more than welcome at the hotel, kids under the age of 2 stay for free and children over the age of 3 are charged full price, same as the adults. Cots and cribs are available - please ask at the reception. The hotel can provide secretarial services and meeting facilities for its business guests.

Ideally situated near to all of London's attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and British Airways London Eye. There is also some great park land just a few minutes walk away - Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens - home of the Princess Diana Memorial Garden. Notting Hill and Bayswater are both within walking distance.
Getting to the hotel is no problem at all - there are many forms of London transport that run very near to the vicinity of the hotel - The nearest tube stations are Queensway and Bayswater, these are only a five minute walk away. The Heathrow Express train provides a direct connection with Heathrow Airport, this arrives and departs from Paddington station every quarter of an hour. Paddington station is only 10 minutes away on foot. The bus from Heathrow airport stops at the bus stop on Bayswater Road, a couple of minutes away from the hotel. Gatwick Airport is only a short train ride from Victoria station, which is about ten minutes away from the hotel.
