Hotel Introduction
This hotel is enjoyed by tourists and business travellers alike. Dating back from the 1920's, the hotel is part of Britain's aviation history and is ideally located for Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Cutomer care is paramount here and all the rooms are tastefully decorated and have comfortable beds. The hotel offers guests a complimentary pass to a nearby leisure centre, which has all the latest facilities and every room in the hotel has Broadband access and so do many of the public places throughout the hotel. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel serving fine cuisine and offering an extensive wine list. A good choice of hotel if you want a touch of quality coupled with easy access to Croydon and central London.

All of the 84 central heated rooms are extremely comfortable and include a range of amenities including tea/coffee making facilities, shampoo, newspaper, trouser press, direct modem link, hairdryer, sitting area and colour television with movie channel. Concierge services include dry cleaning/laundry facilities, 24 hour front desk and porter service, express check out, left luggage service and apostal service. Children are more than welcome and parents will be pleased to learn that children 16 years old and younger and who share a room with two adults can stop for free. This offer is limited to 1 child per booking. There are also other childrens services available including cots/cribs, baby changing facilities, childrens menus, high chairs and a garden with a play area. There is a health centre nearby offering sauna, sunbed, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool, massage, aromatherapy and beauty treatments, for which guests will receive a complimentary pass at the time of check in. Broadband access is available throughout the public parts of the hotel and in all of the rooms. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch from 11am till 2pm and dinner from 6pm till 10pm. The food served varies from English to Table D'Hote. Large groups can be catered for and the restaurant is a good choice for a decent meal at a reasonable price. A seperate childrens menu is available. Business guests are well catered for and the hotel offers an array of business services including meeting facilities, flip charts, fax service, internet access, TV/video hire and document binding.
