London Borough of Brent

The London Borough of Brent was created out of the re-organisation of London's Government in 1965, yet its component parts, with only a few exceptions like Queensbury, are derived from hamlets which began as self-supporting communities in forest clearings, some of which date back as far as the Dark Ages.

Thurrock Community
The Borough of Thurrock lies on the River Thames just to the East of London. With over 18 miles of riverfront it covers an area of 64 square miles, with more than half as Green Belt. London Community Recycling Network
This is a not for profit, second tier, organisation that supports and represents London's existing and emerging Community Recyclers. London CRN recently learned it has secured new funding for the upcoming year. The money will enable it to continue to support and develop the community recycling sector in London, with a particular emphasis on strengthening the relationship between the community sector and local authorities.
