The Royal Albert hall is a
worldwide renowned entertainment venue hosting a wide range of
music from classical, music, rock, pop and jazz. It is home in
the summer to the Promenade concerts including the last night of
the proms. Other events including sporting events take place in
the hall through out the year.
The Royal Albert Hall has 13 bars and 3 restaurants open to the
public during performances. This is in addition to the catering
provided in boxes, and private function rooms that are available
for hire. All restaurants, the Champagne Bar and Victoria Room
Brasserie open 2 hours before the performance. All other public
bars open 45 minutes prior to the performance and during
intervals.
Smoking is limited to five bars within the Hall. All corridors
and the auditorium are non-smoking. See the Food & Drink section
for designated smoking bar areas. Food and beverages may not be
brought into the building at any time.
