The Natural History Museum is in all effects two museums, one
section of the museum features galleries on the Earth the other
galleries Life.
The galleries on the Earth explore the planet we live on,
which is fascinating, however anybody with young children will
have to start there exploration of this huge museum at
the dinosaurs, be warned these exhibits are so popular you may
have to queue. However the wait is well worth the while to see
the amazing recreations of the giants that roamed the earth many
millions of years ago.
The Human Biology exhibit will help parents give a pain free
lesson on the facts of life, there are plenty of picture and
drawings to help you explain to your children were a baby comes
from.
The building which houses the Natural History Museum is
itself truly magnificent, with the Cathedral like entrance hall
taking pride of place.
Remember the Natural History museum is one of the largest
museums in Europe, if you have not visited before please plan
your trip before hand, the most popular exhibits are the
Dinosaurs, Mammal Hall, Darwin Centre and Creepy Crawlies.
